Traveling from LIR, Costa Rica ( Liberia international Airport ) through Tamarindo, down to Hermosa Beach to surf, on to Manuel Antonio for a 5 star breakfast and swim, down to Dominical for the waterfalls, onto Uvita for a rainforest mountain evening, and on to Corcovado national Park for animals and off grid peace. Then on to Pavones for some epic, world class, surfing.

This is a much more lush, and comfortable way to explore Corcovado national park, Costa Rica. 1-4 hr hikes in pristine rainforests, completely off the grid, running on hydro and solar power at a tropical lodge. We started with a solid 4x4 vehicle we rented from www.Roam4x4Rentals.com and drove to hermosa beach for 5 days of epic, world class surfing. Then continued to Manual Antonio one morning, stopping for breakfast at a 5 star hotel, a hot tub and infinity pool time out. Moving on, we hiked Nayacua waterfalls in Dominical, then stayed in a brand new ecolodge way up in the mountains of Uvita. Our Balinese, bamboo house was private and immaculately designed as was the entire mountain location. We woke up in the morning and drove about an hour to the boat docks at Sierpe river. Parked our 4x4 rental safely and jumped in the boat with our guide and were on our way ! landing after an amazing 1.5 hour boat trip down the river and into the open ocean, past drake bay, to the edges of Corcovado park, we touched a rocky beach shore and were driven by dune buggy up to our incredible lodge in the middle of nowhere. The next two days were good hikes to feel the silent pure natural habitat of thousands of animals, mostly the small ones :) We heard of a puma and cubs on site but didn't bump into them, not sure if that was lucky or not haha. After our hikes we enjoyed sunset on a cliff with a cervesa and margarita from the staff.. all of which were very kind and served each meal so we got to know them. The pools were beautiful and the ocean landscaping was both natural and exceptionally designed. It really felt like reality had blended with the surreal as we languished on a hammock together, letting the day slip idly by...
